Brian Hall

Impressively, Brian is a self-taught software engineer. After serving in the Marine Corps as a Field Radio Operator, he embarked on a career in swimming pool enclosure installation. Advancing to the design side, Brian pioneered the use of 3D Computer-Aided Design, improving accuracy, efficiency, and visualization in the pre-fabrication process.

Driven to automate the design process further, Brian ventured into learning coding to accomplish smaller automation tasks. Discovering his passion for software engineering, he dedicated himself to self-learning, taking online and evening classes, and volunteering with the local Orlando .NET Users Group.

After years of hard work, Brian successfully transitioned into a full-time software engineer and eventually joined the ApartmentsFor team. He finds fulfillment in maintaining and enhancing the network's websites, knowing he positively impacts students and families searching for housing. Brian considers it rewarding work and his true calling. He plays a crucial role in bringing new ideas and functionalities to life.

Born in Georgia and raised in central Florida, Brian embraces the sunny and warm climate. As a true Floridian, he considers anything below 70 degrees as cold. Brian cherishes his life with his wife, Jenn, and their two daughters. They also have a beloved rescue dog named Dancer.

During his time in the Marine Corps, Brian was stationed in Okinawa, where he learned recreational scuba diving, a hobby he still enjoys whenever possible. Additionally, Brian has a passion for golf and can often be found on the golf course when he's not in front of a computer or spending time with his family. A fun fact about Brian is that he won a pocket full of cash and a bike on a Nickelodeon game show when he was a kid!
