Valentina Rake

Meet Valentina Rake, a freshman at Florida State University majoring in Finance with a strong interest in international affairs, business, and different cultures around the world. With a passion for creativity, communication, and connecting with others, Valentina has always enjoyed using social media as a way to share experiences and bring people together.

Before college, Valentina was heavily involved in leadership and her high school community. She served as Student Council President, Yearbook President, and Ambassadors Club President, while also competing on the varsity soccer team and participating in Model UN. These experiences helped her develop strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills that she continues to carry with her at FSU.

Valentina also has a deep interest in travel and international cultures. As a Peruvian-American, she enjoys learning about different communities and perspectives and hopes to incorporate her interest in international affairs into her future career. She also founded Pendants for Peru, an initiative that raised money to provide school supplies to children in Peru, combining her love for her heritage with her passion for giving back.

When she’s not studying or creating content, you can usually find Valentina spending time with friends, exploring new places, staying involved on campus, or enjoying one of her favorite things, soccer.

Now at Florida State, Valentina is excited to explore new opportunities, meet new people, and continue growing both personally and professionally. She’s thrilled to bring her creativity, outgoing personality, and passion for connecting with others to her role with RentTally, helping students discover their community and make the most of their college experience.
