We Took an Exclusive Hard Hat Tour of Treehaus Clemson
One of our ApartmentsForClemson interns got an exclusive first look inside Treehaus Clemson — a brand-new luxury student community set to open Fall 2026. Alongside our team she got suited up, hard hat and all, and she's here to tell us everything.
My First Hard Hat Tour: Exploring Treehaus Clemson
This Spring, I had the opportunity to attend my first hard hat tour at Treehaus Clemson, one of the newest options for off-campus housing near Clemson University. As a new Associate Market Director for ApartmentsForClemson, this was an exciting opportunity for me to witness how a community becomes a home!
First Impressions and a Student Perspective
Before the tour started, I got all suited up in my hard hat and construction vest, which made this tour so much more fun from the start. Our team walked through a variety of housing options, ranging from 3-5 bedroom apartments to studios and one of the most luxurious one-bedroom units I have ever seen. Some of my favorite highlights from the tour were the high ceilings, elongated countertops, and my personal favorite, the walk-in closets.
What stood out immediately was how intentionally the space was designed for student living. There were charging stations in select units, and ample space for residents to study, relax, and enjoy all activities that come with being a student at Clemson University.

Along with the features, the management and construction staff on site were so knowledgeable about all things Treehaus. I remember complimenting the pool to Treehaus's Leasing Specialist who was with us on the tour, which opened the door to a conversation about all the exciting amenities still to come. He shared plans for two pickleball courts, a sauna, wellness programs, and so much more. It was evident to me that a lot of thought went into not only the construction of Treehaus but also the luxuries of the entire community.
What I learned
This hard hat tour showed me all the thought and deliberation that goes into building a new student living space. Everyone on site knew the floorplans, the design, and could explain each unit we visited in detail. As an ApartmentsForClemson team member, tours like this make it easy to tell the story of a community and be confident in doing so. Seeing Treehaus come to life up close gave me a deeper appreciation for how these spaces are designed not only for safety and aesthetics but also to support students through their college experience. I am so excited to see Treehaus fill its halls with students by Fall 2026.
