Meet Destiny Self: Our New Market Director for Tallahassee and Tuscaloosa

ApartmentsFor is excited to introduce the newest powerhouse on our team: Destiny Self, Market Director for RentTally in Tallahassee, FL and ApartmentsForLegends in Tuscaloosa, AL!

Destiny’s journey with ApartmentsFor started in the summer of 2024 when she joined us as the Social Media Intern for ApartmentsForLegends. From the start, she impressed us with her creativity, dedication, and deep understanding of student life at the University of Alabama. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in Criminal Justice, Destiny returned in the fall of 2024 as an Associate Market Director under the mentorship of Olivia Blitchington, our Director of Strategic Partnerships. Fast forward to today—and Destiny now leads two of our key student markets.

She’s a natural when it comes to curating content that makes apartment communities shine. From behind-the-scenes property tours to personality-packed social videos, Destiny finds fun, Gen-Z-friendly ways to highlight apartment features and community perks. Her strong background in social media—fueled by a lifelong love for digital content—makes her the perfect person to help renters discover their next home.

A proud graduate of the University of Alabama and a former Delta Gamma vp: Communications, Destiny’s leadership skills and marketing know-how are matched by her authentic connection to the student experience. That’s a big reason why she’s so passionate about building relationships with the apartment communities in both Tuscaloosa and Tallahassee. She regularly attends apartment industry events in Tallahassee to stay involved and stay inspired.

Originally from Huntsville, AL, Destiny made the move to Tallahassee in April 2025 and has fully embraced Florida life. When she’s not producing content or working with our amazing partners, you’ll probably find her exploring new cities, playing pickleball, testing out high-protein recipes, or whipping up something delicious in her Ninja Creami.
